Who we are

The HAS Latin American Film Festival (LAFF) is produced by Hispanic Arts Society in Calgary, Alberta. This policy explains how we handle personal information submitted through this website.

When you complete the volunteer form, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, volunteer interests, availability, and relevant experience. Our hosting provider may also process limited technical information needed to operate and protect the website.

We use volunteer information to review your interest, contact you about opportunities, coordinate festival activities, and maintain appropriate organizational records. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing and service providers

Information may be handled by authorized Hispanic Arts Society team members and service providers that support our website and email delivery. Ticket purchases and reservations are completed through Showpass and are subject to Showpass’s own privacy practices.

Retention and protection

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above or to meet legal and administrative requirements. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you submitted to us, subject to applicable legal requirements. You may also withdraw from volunteer communications at any time.
